Set up documents for review, create templates, manage requests for
documentation, file documents in physical and digital records and ensure
appropriate storage, review, validate and maintain the accuracy of the
records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date, liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties, manage the processes around documentation within the hospital, prepare reports on projects when required.
Assessing pain levels from verbal and non-verbal cues, recommending a
change in medications or dosages if the patient isn't experiencing adequate relief, teaching patients how to take pain medications safely,
introducing patients to alternative pain management techniques.
Supervising the rest of the department's nurses, addressing patient
concerns, managing department's flow, staffing and resources, monitoring patient care.
Emergency Department: Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency, quickly assessing patient needs, treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma, performing minor medical operations, cleaning wounds, drawing blood, maintaining emergency room care standards, ensuring the efficiency of the patient occupancy process, displaying strong decision making skills in emergency scenarios.
