General Achievements: (Department level)

• Successfully manage to develop an asset integrity management framework document and lead an awareness campaign for asset integrity employees and our partners (Operation and maintenance).
• Developing and monitoring of Asset integrity department KPIs ensuring compliance of company performance standard, integrity procedures and guideline.
• Participate in Standardization of Inspection/Integrity procedure among OQ downstream assets (after OQ integration).
• Setting inspection strategy for non-RBI assets and some non-age related damage mechanisms.
• Developing PRV (Safety critical element) procedure with new condition based classification to help the organization (especially new projects) for proper distribution and testing optimization.
• Performing integrity Gap assessment for Sohar refinery addressing deficiencies and gaps with a clear roadmap of closure and detailed actions.
• Leading efficiency improvement task force team to improve Asset integrity engineers and inspector capabilities and knowledge.

Specific tasks and achievements: (specific assigned units)

• Technically and administratively leading (AP) Aromatic plant (a group of 5 engineers / inspectors) and (SR) Sohar refinery (a group of 9 engineers / inspectors) in two different periods to achieve required KPIs.
• Improving overall mechanical integrity program for static equipment as a focal point of Area reliability committee identifying initiatives and plans for continuous improvement.
• Participate in quarterly integrity report issuance identifying high risk equipment and area of focus, IOW violations, integrity KPI compliance and required mitigation actions.
• Development of static equipment inspection strategies, planes and continuous monitoring of inspection plan execution compliance.
• Approving RBI analysis developed in GE-Meridium (data input, assumption and analysis results) focusing on previous equipment history assessment, inspection program effectiveness and assigning confidence factor.
• Successful turnarounds (TA) management for inspection scope preparation, challenge, budget optimization, safe execution, and reporting.
• Participate in department budget requirement and assist in justifying its approval with continuously monitored and highlighted variance for better cost control.
• Fitness for service analysis (as required) identifying way forward with a clear repair procedure to maintain safe operation from TA to TA.
• Leading Corrosion looping, piping circuitization projects identifying mixing/injection points, dead legs and enhancing Meridium TM module utilization.
• Member of MOC approval committee representing asset integrity department.

Tasks and achievements:

• Leading a group of 6 RBI facilitators to develop RBI analysis and inspection program for SADAF (6 plants) facilitating team challenges (technical supports, Resource management, data verification, software troubleshooting….etc).
• Successfully managed the challenges of transformation phase from (SRBI) shell RBI to (MRBI) Meridium RBI with different approaches within the target data of the project.
• SADAF's focal point for all communication related to static equipment integrity with SABIC corporate manufacturing center of excellence (MCE) and SABIC corporate inter-affiliate audit team member.
• Integrity KPIs tracking and reporting in monthly basis to SADAF management and SABIC corporate MCE focal point.
• Managing Inspection report, corrective recommendation approvals and RBI reassessment accordingly.
• Approval of inspection plans (Inspection type, scope, coverage, NDT and interval) generated by RBI and handover to SAP inspection planner.
• RBI steering committee coordinator, presenting integrity threats found during RBI analyses and obstacles hinder inspection and RBI team to achieve their target plan for decision and forward plan.
• Remaining life assessment and FFS (level I & II) when recommended and managing strategy for equipment near retirements.
• Participate in Issuing annual integrity report for static equipment within inspection and RBI reassessment plan highlighting the current risk, mitigations and recommendation.

Communication level: DNV-GL Operation, country manager, client's Inspection, maintenance and operation managers - as I have engaged in many assignments throughout my journey with GL, few major assignments are included herein.

Tasks and achievements:

Client: United Gas Derivatives company (UGDC)

Working as inspection engineer in Asset integrity management system (AIMS) implementation team, with the following duties:

• Online and Turnaround inspection for static equipment.
• Maintain equipment off/on-stream inspection schedules and records in the AIMS.
• Supervise NDT contractor for CML program and reporting the major issues for immediate actions.
• Issuing monthly inspection report to the client highlight the major threats and prioritized recommendations with hierarchy for implementation.

Client: (BURULLUS gas company)

Working as IVA (independent Verification Authority) for In-service hot tap welding with the following duties:

• Ensure material grade for sleeve fittings/Nipples to be as required in drawings.
• Witnessing welding procedure qualification record and pressure test of welded sleeve/Nipples after all welding activities.
• Supervision of all hot tap welds according to qualified welding procedure and NDT activities.

Client: ALTUBE

Working as Vendor inspection for 20” pipeline fabrication (82 KM) with the following duties:

• Lead GL inspection team as a third party for API 5L pipe manufacturing.
• Issue 3.2 certificates for the pipe product according to EN10204.

Communication level: Construction, project, technical office engineers and client inspectors.

Reporting to: QA/QC Manager

Projects:

• Independent water & steam power plant (IWSP) construction - KSA - Rabigh City
• Gas-Oil separation, Khafji Field Development (KFD) construction - KSA - Khafji City.

Tasks and achievements:

• Welding inspector for piping and tanks during its construction
• Verification of NDT completions and acceptance to code.
• Coordinate test packages from line punching, completion of punched items and Documentation.
• Verification of hydro-test acceptance according to spec.
• Issue NCR (Non Conformity report) when violation to project spec.
• Final mechanical completion handover to commissioning team.
