General Achievements: (Department level)

  • Successfully manage to develop an asset integrity management framework document and lead an awareness campaign for asset integrity employees and our partners (Operation and maintenance).
  • Developing and monitoring of Asset integrity department KPIs ensuring compliance of company performance standard, integrity procedures and guideline.
  • Participate in Standardization of Inspection/Integrity procedure among OQ downstream assets (after OQ integration).

  • Technically and administratively leading (AP) Aromatic plant (a group of 5 engineers / inspectors) and (SR) Sohar refinery (a group of 9 engineers / inspectors) in two different periods to achieve required KPIs.
  • Improving overall mechanical integrity program for static equipment as a focal point of Area reliability committee identifying initiatives and plans for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in quarterly integrity report issuance identifying high risk equipment and area of focus, IOW violations, integrity KPI compliance and required mitigation actions.
  • Development of static equipment inspection strategies, planes and continuous monitoring of inspection plan execution compliance.
  • Approving RBI analysis developed in GE-Meridium (data input, assumption and analysis results) focusing on previous equipment history assessment, inspection program effectiveness and assigning confidence factor.
  • Successful turnarounds (TA) management for inspection scope preparation, challenge, budget optimization, safe execution, and reporting.
  • Participate in department budget requirement and assist in justifying its approval with continuously monitored and highlighted variance for better cost control.

  • Supervise NDT contractor for CML program and reporting the major issues for immediate actions.
  • Issuing monthly inspection report to the client highlight the major threats and prioritized recommendations with hierarchy for implementation.

Working as IVA (independent Verification Authority) for In-service hot tap welding with the following duties:

  • Ensure material grade for sleeve fittings/Nipples to be as required in drawings.
  • Witnessing welding procedure qualification record and pressure test of welded sleeve/Nipples after all welding activities.
  • Supervision of all hot tap welds according to qualified welding procedure and NDT activities.

Client: ALTUBE

Working as Vendor inspection for 20” pipeline fabrication (82 KM) with the following duties:

  • Lead GL inspection team as a third party for API 5L pipe manufacturing.
  • Issue 3.2 certificates for the pipe product according to EN10204.
