  • Through my expertise and leadership, Bank was able to engage in many transformational journeys from establishing new businesses (issuing, acquiring, digital payments, mobile payments, digital transformation, workflow automation, business intelligence and many more) to providing advisory and consultancy to corporate and SME customers on their respective transformational experiences and digitization drives;.
  • Formed and led Bank's “Digital Transformation Taskforce”, envisioned, blue-printed and led implementation of Bank's Digital Transformation strategy, delivering best-in-industry digital infrastructure and services and transforming Bank from legacy organization to a next-gen financial service provider;.
  • Pioneered creating, driving and delivering first to market Mobile Digital payment ecosystem – eFloos. Co-partnered with the largest Telco in Oman and actualized unique Bank-Telco Joint Venture. EFloos (IOS and Android) became flagship of digital payment trend in Oman adopted by both, consumers and merchants & envisioned for international inter-operability;.
  • Conceptualized and led implementation of Digital channels' monetization strategy delivering on transformation from idle service stations to revenue generating profitable business models;.
  • Envisioned, designed and led implementation of Bank's “Digital Payments Ecosystem” strategy with the aspiration for local and international impact, incorporating consumer and B2B products and services;.
  • Led Omni-channel design platform project implementation, deploying multiple unique services (including Transaction Banking module, Investment module, Workflow automation module, local and international merchant acquiring solutions, FX international remittance, P2P and P2B payments, risk management and compliance modules and specialized financial services among others);.
  • Led the way promoting new technologies, identified, evaluated and actualized new business opportunities and revenue diversification models for Bank's fee generation strategy (wage protection schemes, multi-currency, virtual products, international remittance products, BIN sponsorships for FinTechs in issuing and acquiring space, etc);.
  • Pioneered creating and implementing roadmap and strategy of multiple market places for the Bank (remittance, insurance, bill payments & life-style);.
  • Collaborated with 3rd parties, Regulators, Central Bank, Payment Associations (Visa International, MasterCard, American Express, etc) and Telecommunication regional leadership to license new innovative financial technology products, processes & implementation of new core digital payment trends (contactless, tokenization, QR payments, NFC, cloud-based services among many others);.
  • Pioneered partnerships and negotiated contracts with the most advanced FinTechs, Blockchain, InsurTechs, Omni-channel platforms and digital payments, aiming to bringing into the Oman banking sector locally based digital solutions (BackBase, TechMahindra, First Data, Temenos, NCR, TransferWise, Diebold, Kony, HPS, others);.
  • Through Design Thinking methodology implemented best-in-class digital customer journeys for all bank products on digital and legacy channels (branch, mobile, web, digital wallet, ATMs, etc) including digital onboarding, eKYC, unique customer verification and compliance processes, workflow automation, etc.
  • Founded and executed Payment strategy for newly established Bank and established fully fledged Card Center (profitable in 18 months).
