  • Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) is the leading oil and gas exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. It accounts for more than 90% of the country's crude-oil production and nearly all its natural-gas supply. PDO is owned by the Government of Oman, Royal Dutch Shell, TotalEnergies and Partex. The company produces more than 1 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.
  • I am leading multiple brownfield and greenfield projects with a CAPEX (capital expenditure) range of USD $200 million to $1 billion each. Each project is central to the company’s effort to expand oil and gas production and to improve the reliability and safety of its operations to handle and increase the production output in various existing facilities across the country.
  • Developing and implementing a planning model for Commissioning and Start-up (CSU) Strategy and Execution. Developing CSU Philosophy with CSU Logic and Schedule.

  • I was responsible for Major Projects Development at the company, including the North Caspian Project, the first major offshore oil and gas development in Kazakhstan. It covers three fields: Kashagan, Kairan and Aktoty.
  • Successfully represented the National Company KazMunayGas within the North Caspian Sea Production Sharing Agreement (NCSPSA). Participated in the technical and stakeholder management committees to review the project’s process, evaluate its financial performance and economic analysis, and to engage with the governmental agencies and regional and local authorities.
  • Leading Kashagan field development according to field development plan and ensured the Project Surface Production facilities (Offshore and Onshore) were successfully commissioned and ready for start-up as per Project Schedule, Commissioning and Start-up program, Environmental and Government Regulatory Affairs requirements. I was involved in obtaining the certifications and renewal of certifications for equipment intended to operate under pressure, personnel training, and competency certification to operate the equipment.
  • Planned for the technological field development, Kashagan Phase-2 and CC-01 projects.
