  • Responsible for developing IFEC program and content strategy for ARIA GUI along with Content Service Provider and other relevant suppliers to capture best passenger experience for our international travelers considering relevant trends, passenger profile, bench marking, system types, culture values while maintaining budget
  • Managing the IFE Content selections – Reviewing content offers (Movies, TV, Audio/Radio, Quran, Games, Survey, Moving Maps, Duty Free, prayer application…etc.), screening the content, making final selections & onboard content checks
  • Liaison with relevant stakeholder departments in Oman Air (Marketing, Corporate, branding, Holidays, ancillary revenue, loyalty…etc.) and coordinate to update their perspective sections on the IFE platform every cycle
  • Liaison with OEM to monitor content upload in aircrafts & day to day operational follow up to ensure content is loaded on all Oman Air fleet before the beginning of the month every cycle
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technology revolutions/ industry practices related to IFEC system products and services by attending airline exhibitions such as apex, Airline Experience Expo…etc
  • And networking with relevant IFEC perspective vendors
  • Participating in tender evaluations along with respective parties to ensure proper selections of IFEC suppliers such as Content Service Providers, OEM, Connectivity, Newspapers & Magazines, maps, headsets…etc
  • Responsible for managing and negotiating IFEC contracts and SLAs in addition to the renewal of existing contracts for all IFEC suppliers
  • Key Accomplishments:
  • Member of Oman Air Change Management Team, driving cultural transformation, employee engagement, guest experiences, and customer-centric approach, boosting satisfaction, loyalty, and brand perception
  • Achieving a budget reduction of less than 50% during the pandemic period through optimizing content strategy while still maintaining quality
  • Participated in the Developing and deployment of a high-end state of the art PAX GUI currently flying on Oman Air fleet
  • This was achieved through approving design screens, user behavior and signing out each UI page/feature with IFE system supplier
  • Managed the redesign of the Graphic User Interface of leased aircraft carrying Panasonic system to mimic Oman Air IFE Graphic User Interface along with leading airline GUI designer (Fuse) to allow seamless passenger experience
  • Managed the production process of the current flying Safety video on board Oman air which was aimed to promote Oman as a destination of choice
  • Promoting Oman as a country and encouraging tourism and international businesses through content and imagery on the IFE platform
  • Participated in receiving the Apex (Airline Passenger Exhibition Expo) awards on behalf of Oman Air and representing Oman Air in the yearly APEX exhibitions allowing international exposer
  • Took part in the aircraft delivery of Dreamliner 787-9 to monitor the integrity of new upgraded ARIA software and validate the reliability of the new GUI, in addition; supporting the software rollout to the rest of the fleet along with the Engineering department
  • Assisted in increasing Oman Air revenue by designing different slots in the IFE platform for Ancillary revenue promotions and managing the upload process.
