* Direct the development and oversee the implementation of policies, processes, procedures and controls covering all areas of company activities such as Performance Management, HR, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Feed mill, Hatchery, Broiler Farm, Processing plant, Quality Controller and cost-effective.

* Ensure the effective achievement of GM objectives through the leadership of the Company – setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating departments, provision of formal and informal feedback and department head appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and company performance.

* Direct the preparation of the company budget & plans, monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.

* Direct and provide input for the preparation of Sohar Poultry company structures aiming to optimize and harmonize such structures across the respective Business Units in compliance with the board of director’s strategies and ensuring individuals are deployed and developed in ways which maximize their short, medium and longer term contributions to the company.

Responsible for reviewing recommended Organization structures and changes to ensure the full optimization.

* Ensure carrying out complete business analysis process for all departments across the company and implement the approved policy.

* Ensure the ongoing development and implementation of performance management systems in order to ensure all individuals in the company know what their performance objectives are and how they are performing against those objectives so that overall business performance can be optimized and allow for appropriate linkage between performance and reward.

* Lead and oversee the functional work teams and support cross functional teams in order to stimulate team work and obtain synergies utilizing the individual strengths and potential background of individual team members.

Monitor the departments head to evaluate them and make the KPI every end of year.

* The primary responsibility of the job holder is to develop and lead the company strategy and programs covering the full range of company’s functions in a timely manner. The job holder is expected to work closely with all department heads to understanding their requirement and provide high level support to their day today business challenges. Job holder controls revenue expenditure according to approved budgets and authority levels. The major challenge of this position is to ensure that it adds value to the company.
