  • Ensure the yearly National Promotion Plan for KSA & GULF is created in coordination with each Category Trade Marketing Manager from each business unit, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and with each Sales region.
  • Ensure National Promotion Plan is updated base on market and sales team demands in coordination with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Category Trade Marketing Managers.
  • Communicate and receive feedbacks from each National Key Account Manager to maintain and update the National Key Accounts Quarterly Promotion Plan.
  • Ensure each National Key Account Manager follows SOP/requirement for every NKA promotion proposal and observe checklist as agreed with the Head of Modern Trade. Manage successful National Key Accounts in-store promotions by communicating Trade Alerts base on agreed timelines and to ensure correct and complete information in all Trade Alert communications.
  • Manage Trade Alert communications by creatings specific mail recipient groups for specific alerts to ensure the right persons or employees are notified of promotion activities.
  • Develop quarterly POSM project plans in coordination with each business unit. Coordinate with CPD team to ensure we have competitive POSM suppliers and agencies within KSA & GULF registered in the system.
  • Lead weekly POSM update meetings with CPD team, external supplier and category managers.Ensure RFIs are available in the system for all POSM and other special projects to notify the CPD team.
  • Ensure POSM projects PR and PO are completed in accordance with the agreed targeted date of implementation.
  • Approval of POSM sample proofs from suppliers ensuring color, design, printing, and specs are in line with Almarai standards.
  • Ensure in-store promotions are executed to Almarai standards by coordinating with Regional Key Accounts team, Regional Merchandising Teams and receiving photographic confirmation.
  • Ensure confirmed POSM plans are communicated to the regional team giving enough time in preparation and support the actual market implementation.
  • Ensure creation of a user friendly easy to use Almarai POSM and product image library in the intactix server which includes the POSM artwork, design specification and allocation, HD product images.
  • Ensure creation and implementation of the POSM SOP in coordination with sales regions, CPD team and each business units.
  • Ensure the POSM portfolio of each country region is always up to date and used for all regular POSM allcoation calculations.
  • Ensure all regular POSM campaign implementation are agreed with sales and merchandising teams.
  • Ensure proper space for all POSM materials are available in all depots within KSA & GULF.
  • Create and maintain the POSM depot space monitoring file which includes actual depot space images and POSM quantity capacity.
  • Ensure the quarterly POSM report is updated to keep track of the disposal process for old, obsolete and damage POSM in all depots within KSA & GULF.
  • Manage external agencies and internal sales and merchandising team for successful implementations of multi-brand display activations in targeted National Key Accounts. Manage external agencies for effective and consistent in-store sampling activities targeting weekends for 9 months every year.
