In my earlier roles, I was involved in Treaty placements, where in used to interact with various cedant and Reinsurance companies, completing the Placements, Treaty Nego and Underwriting support.
Improve data quality while processing Facultative and Treaty, Technical accounting Reinsurance, worked in multiple segments like Accounting, Claims, Insurance operations, Client servicing. Also participated and led the User acceptance test (UAT).

· Studying & Processing Treaty Renewal offers and approaching the existing as well as new markets and Coordinating with all the Reinsurance Companies and generate response or handle Queries in strict time lines, to avoid any communication gap.
· Once treaty terms are finalized advising signed lines to Reinsurers and sending Reinsurance slips to Reinsurers.
· Preparing and sending Statistics, Risk Profiles, Reinsurance Slips, Cover Notes, Placement Charts, Drafting Business letters, Communicating with client (Insurance and Reinsurance Companies) both International and local and also following up with them.
· Checking Wordings of Proportional and Non-Proportional Treaties and if there is any query, seeking necessary clarification before forwarding it to respective Reinsurers and periodically chasing Reinsurers for the return of signed documents
· Handling end-to-end reinsurance portfolio
· Liaison with reinsurer for Proportional, non-proportional treaties and facultative quotes
· Resolution of queries raised by reinsurer by coordination with other departments

· Close collaboration with Finance, Underwriting and Actuary teams
· Foreign Reinsurance remittance and settlements on periodic basis
· Reinsurance treaties (Treaty and Facultative) P&C analysis
· Work with the Actuaries and Underwriter team to analyze insurance risks on a portfolio level
· Monitor the contract documentations, ensuring timely flow of materials
· Reconciliation comprises of Premium, Claims, Brokerage, Legal Fees and Commission
· Business transition - Total workload of 2000+ odd remittances to be settled with no prior info
