  • Managing contractors and consultants teams in which managed more than 2 contracts (running projects and closing of projects) with an amount of more than 18 million Omani Rials
  • Monthly, weekly, and daily review and follow-up of the project plan for the individual project timelines and activities carried out by the contractor and consultant.
  • Managing contracts by acting as the company's representative during project execution.
  • Liaise with concept engineers in the front-end design stages and ensure a smooth transition thru and thru the execution phase is achieved.
  • Ensure that project and project expenditure plans are set-up and updated monthly and review the consultants' and contractors’ invoices for each individual project.
  • Managing the outage plan and contingency plan during the OHL and substation shutdown
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and ensure as-built documentation, drawings, and close-out reports are available.
  • Maintain cash flow, raise and review capital budget proposals, and monitor expenditure on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage conflicts between different stakeholders and provide acceptable solutions for all parties. We developed strong relations between the projects department and OETC departments to facilitate the progress of works.
  • Negotiate with contractors in terms of selecting good products and approving variation orders.
  • Manages and solves sudden issues and problems with different parties (like localities, other ministries, and authorities) and provides input and feedback on rectifying challenges or deviations conducted by different parties.
  • Ensure sufficient and suitable resources, materials, and equipment are available to complete all project work correctly within the approved project budgets.
  • Sharing skills and experience with colleagues by participating in weekly section meetings for discussing progress, risks, threats, opportunities and supporting the development of others thru coaching and mentoring
  • Monthly risk register and opportunity review of running projects, department risks, and escalating corporate risks, and suggesting actions to overcome risks and utilize opportunities.
  • Ensure as-built documentation, drawings, close-out reports, operating and maintenance manuals are prepared and entered/handed across to the relevant parties.
  • Support the conceptual design team in the preparation and evaluation of the tenders.
