•Develop a certification and compliance strategy in accordance with Oman Airports strategic goals and in compliance of CAR 139 and Annexure 14

•Develop emergency plan and input related to safety and environment are up to date at all times and ensure it is correctly implemented by all airport users

•Propose updates to the aerodrome manuals and implement them once approved

•Develop Oman Airports Certification & compliance policy in line with ICAO requirements, business strategies and aviation standards

•Ensure certification of all Oman Airports are in line with ICAO standards

•Coordinate with external certifying organizations and maintain all documentations required for certifications

•Investigate and report on airfield incidents

•Ensure airside rules and activities comply with applicable rules and regulations

•Conduct regular visual inspection of airside facilities and systems

•Ensure “follow me” services when required

•Respond to emergencies and irregularities as required to ensure smooth operations.

•Supervise Airside Duty Officers and ensure that all events are recorded appropriately in the duty log.

•Maintain operational continuity during emergencies and prevent disruptions to operational processes.

•Monitor implementation of NOTAMs

•Supervise housekeeping and other maintenance work to ensure airside is always kept.

▪ Monitor and control OLS, FOD and some Routine Tasks.

▪ Statistics analyze and collector.

▪ Aerodrome Flight Information Service (AFIS).
