Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and update of as-built drawings of Outside Plant network infrastructure, exchange site plans, base maps and other related drawings
• Supervise provision of maps and drawings for Outside Plant related information to vendors and clients.
• Supervise activities of GIS/ Documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Supervise provision, guidance and assistance on site prior to excavation works such as locating and marking up of position of Open trench apparatus
• Identify and maintain protection and test routines for fixed networks and associated control systems, including emergency load management systems
• Define and maintain register of all protection and control schemes and related setting
• Participate in procurement of Plant Protection insurance and review and evaluate premium quotes
• Supervise issuance of Excavation Permits to vendors and clients
• Supervise monitoring of execution of Excavation Permit requirements to ensure plant protection
• Oversee day-to-day activities of team and follow up on reported cable cuts
• Ensure that vendors and clients comply with requirements of Excavation Permits
