· Line managing HSE staff and consultants, ensuring they are gainfully deployed and perform to required standard.

· Identify, monitor, and deliver employee training needs concerning health and safety for 49 staff and 16 contractors.
· Lead incident investigations to determine root causes, implement corrective action, and share lessons learned.
· Monitor all conservation and protection programs, maintain hygiene at the facility at all times and prepare required monthly status reports.
· Ensure Contractor HSSE activities comply with Company HSSE Policies & Plans and meet local statutory HSSE regulations.
· Ensures Emergency Response System, policies, and procedures are in place to manage emergencies.

· Develop and conduct HSE competency-based training programs for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) staff and contractors.
· Develop a system for verification of assessment for competency as per PDO's policies and procedures.
· Support and guide assessors and ensure quality & consistency of assessment among assessors.
· Earning continual high marks on surveys and comment cards from training participants; receiving 4.0 and 5.0 scores—and nothing less—on a 5-point scale for Seven consecutive years.
· Coach and assess 10 candidates on the job through the ICV Program (In country value) sponsored by PDO to train young Omanis to become safety specialists/ trainers.
· Assist Training Manager with junior trainer's observation, supervision, and development.

· Develop and review HSE procedures and update HSE-MS incorporating new requirements and changes in Corporate HSE policies and government regulations.

· Develop and maintain HSE Cases and support HEMP studies.
· Plan, coordinate, and conduct HSE audits for 17 petroleum service stations, 3 major depots, and under-construction sites to ensure compliance with established HSE procedures and legislative requirements.
· Develop and coordinate incident investigation process to determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
· Prepare annual budget for the HSE Dept.
· Plan, coordinate, and conduct the HSE training for 90 staff members and contractors to enhance HSE awareness and competencies.
