Training

  • Gas Wells Surveillance at Petroleum Development Omam (12/01/2019-02/29/2020)
  • Well proposal ( to write all the details for drilling, including type of casing, perforation, and the depth)
  • Monitor the wells' production and solve all the related issues

  • Well Engineering at Daleel Petroleum (08/01/2021- 09/30/2021),
  • Understanding the duties of well engineers, studying the type of wells, well life, and rig system (Rotary system, hoisting system, circulating system, power system, and well control system).

Projects

  • Compressional and Shear rock wave velocity Correlations in sedimentary rock (09/2020 - 09/2021)
  • Objectives: Establish accurate empirical relationships between
  • Compressional (P-wave) and shear (S-wave) velocities in different sedimentary rocks.
  • Investigate how porosity, clay content, permeability, and density influence the P-wave and S-wave velocities in sedimentary rocks.
  • Develop predictive models or equations that can estimate shear wave velocities based on compressional wave velocities, especially in scenarios where direct measurements are unavailable.
  • Support engineering applications like drilling, reservoir management, and geotechnical assessments by providing reliable data and models for predicting rock behavior under variousconditions conditions.
