Working as Mechanical Permit Holder for the oil & water flowlines and Pipelines , where I am responsible to:

• Review and manage permits for mechanical work by ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are in place before work begins.
• Managing and overseeing mechanical work activities for flowlines and pipeline activities in PDO Concession areas ( Lekhwair Filed ).
• Ensures that all work is carried out safely, in compliance with permits, and according to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Monitor the validity of permits and ensure they are updated or renewed as required.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits of mechanical work sites to ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations.
• Managing the interface between the PDO operations team, Sub-contractors, and the health, safety, and environment (HSE) department.
• Act as the primary point of contact for mechanical work activities and provide clear communication between all parties involved.
• Ensure that all team members understand the scope of work, potential hazards, and necessary precautions.
• Maintain accurate records of all permits issued, including details of the work performed and any incidents or near misses.
• Report any safety violations, incidents, or accidents to the relevant authorities and assist in investigations as needed.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on permit activities and safety performance.

I have developed and enhanced my technical skills as a mechanical permit holder, with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly in flowline and pipeline construction and maintenance. Key competencies include:

• Knowledge of materials used in pipeline construction, including metals, coatings, and insulation.
• Familiarity with the construction and installation processes of flowlines, including welding, trenching, and laying of pipes.
• Identifying potential issues such as leaks, corrosion, or mechanical damage.
  

• Short term exposure where covered various Static and piping construction related activities
• I was involved in OQ shutdown work and gained knowledge in:

- Various type of pressure vessels in oil and gas industry

- Heat exchanger maintenance

- Piping components and Material

-Types of valves used in oil and gas industry

- Piping fabrication and erection drawings

- Piping welding

- Piping NDT testing (PMI , RT , LP , Hardness , Ferrite )

- Piping Torquing

- Piping Hydrotest

- Piping Leak test

• Internship program for two months where I covered process of pressure vessels manufacturing , skids assembly , pipes coating and cladding.
• I have gained knowledge in: - Pressure vessels manufacturing from plate cutting all the way till final coating.
• Skids / Package piping assembly.
• Various type of pressure vessels such as separator , heat exchanger , KOD
• Pipes coating and cladding.
• piping spools and valves.
