Responsibilities:
Part of project control team assigned to Oman Botanic Garden project, one of largest in world, designed for LEED Platinum certification, located over 430 hectares consist of two glass biomes, cable car, steel & façade structure, PV farm, water treatment plants, and landscape.
Planning and scheduling:
• Responsible for developing, monitoring and reporting of project plans, cost estimates and schedules.
• Implemented an automated data collection tool 'Procube' to update project progress which reduced manual effort and increased productivity over 20% resulting in significant savings.
• Proactive analysis of program and monitoring productivity, cash flow, resource histogram, progress curves for early warnings, bottlenecks and assessment of likely impacts of changes/variations and likely mitigation plan.
• Coordination with client, consultants, senior management and statutory authorities.
• Periodically reviewing progress of design, procurement and construction with reference to baseline program, addressing shortfalls, develop recovery schedules when and where required and ensuring plans made are implemented.
• Identified resources requirement for project and effective utilization of organizational and subcontractor resources.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly, executive reports and contractual correspondences.
Cost Control:

Part of planning team which was assigned to construct Al Batinah Expressway Package-IV which consisted of earthworks, excavation and fill, construction of two interchanges, seven overpasses across the expressway at different locations, five wadi bridges, approx. 189 single and multi-cell reinforced concrete box culverts, median drainage system, dykes and embankment protections, pavement construction courses, signage, road lighting and safety barriers.
