Responsibilities:

• Been responsible for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System all the time.
• Been responsible for advising, guiding, and motivating project line management on all Quality and verification activities and related technical matters.
• Been responsible for the allocation of quality resources and for Quality training for all project personnel.
• Managing QA/QC staff on all worksites and ensure project quality targets are achieved.
• Monitoring & Measurement of Risk management registers of all the project sites at regular intervals of time.
• Providing support and guidance to all Project Team members on quality-related matters.
• Ensuring compliance of all project functions, Sub-suppliers, and Vendors with the Project Quality Management System requirements.
• Providing inputs and steering the annual QMS Management Review and track opportunities for improvement.
• Liaising with Group QA/QC Manager on matters related to Quality.

Project: PDO EMC Projects - South Oman

Client: Petroleum Development Oman

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with the vendors/manufacturers in detailing the quality requirements during KOM (Kick Off Meetings)
• Attending PIM (Pre-Inspection Meetings) to confirm the inspection requirements of the product/service at vendor premises.
• Attending FAT inspections (whenever required) at their manufacturing units to confirm the product/service compliance as per PO & purchase specification requirements and approved drawings.
• Reviewing/ checking compliance of the vendor/manufacturer ITP’s , Quality Control Procedures/Method Statements of the Project specific product/service with the supporting engineering & procurement deliverables and liaising with the vendors/manufacturer.
• Reviewing design & engineering deliverables and confirming the quality compliance of the product/service requirements as per PO requirements.
• Reviewing the procurement deliverables and ensuring his product compliance subjected for client’s approvals as per client’s approved vendor/manufacturer PGSC /AVME list.
• Attending internal meetings with the vendors/manufacturers (whenever required) upon their compliance in confirming to the client’s QMS requirements for product/service and monitoring their KPI’s to the compliance as well.
• Provide feedback to QA Manager on regular intervals on all vendor/manufacturer related quality issues/ concerns for his support.

QA Activities & Audits

• Preparation of Project documents such as Contract Quality Plan, Project Quality plans, Inspection and Test Plan as per Contractual and International standard requirements.
• Implementation and monitoring the Contractual Specific Quality Objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
• Conducting First Party and Second Party Audits.
• Internal Audit implementation in areas of quality management in projects with scopes such as design / engineering, procurement, construction, inspection/testing and commissioning phases
• Audits follow up for corrective actions close out in timely manner.
• Control of Non Conformance by detecting, Reporting and Follow up for Corrective Action to close out on time
• Identification/ reporting of Quality concern to QA Manager and Project Engineers.
• Implementation of Root Cause Analysis/ Statistical data analysis related to quality issues

Responsibilities:

• Preparation, implementation/monitoring, revising, and updating of Contract Quality Plan, Quality Manual, and Inspection Test Plans, when required by the QA Manager.
• Monitor the subcontractor's activity as per the subcontractor's approved contract quality plans and their performance.
• Analyzing the root causes of non-conformance observed & verifying the implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
• Advise personnel in taking appropriate corrective & preventive actions on non-conformance.
• Maintain quality records as required by the quality control plans/DEP's/SP's.
• Ensure that the internal & external audits are carried out as per the audit schedule and follow-up is carried out on CARs issued.
• Attend Subcontractor co-ordination meetings, to advise the status of Quality issues during site review meetings, discuss the implementation of contract quality plan & recommend improvements.
• Provide feedback to the QA Manager on all Quality related matters.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day quality-related activities of the contract at site.
• Preparation, implementation, monitoring, revising and updating of Contract Quality Plans, Quality Control Plans, when required by QA Manager.
• Carry out all inspections and test requirements of the contract at all the stages as per the QCP and contract requirements
• Verify that the calibration status of the inspection & test equipment being used are valid.
• Notifying any non-conformance identified during site inspection and recommending correcting measures to Construction Engineers.
• Compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and tests.

• Ensures team members have a clear understanding of the overall strategy, business drivers, and priorities of the project
• Develops project plans including engineering design/procurement, fabrication, vendor mobilization, construction, and commissioning
• Manages the interface and communication processes between parties on all project activities
• Ensures changes to technical specifications are risk-assessed, managed and appropriately captured in engineering and related documentation

• Manages project budgets/costs
