  • Review all Laboratory analyses, make sure that all sampling and test been done according to safety standards. Attending during sampling at field with Lab Technician and make sure on sampling and testing reproducibility. Checking daily consumption of chemicals, recommending proper dose rate according on performance of chemicals. Review corrosion rate monitoring tools (LPR probes, coupon data etc.), interpretation of corrosion data and corrosion inhibitor and biocide performance. Forecasting chemical volumes. Regular Field visits : collect deposition and pig slug samples, perform dissolution test in field Laboratory to find out root cause of corrosion issue. Follow up new projects and coordinate with NALCO Aberdeen R&D department ongoing projects. Support customer (PDO) with continues improvement suggestions and implementation those as projects. Technical Expert for ChampionX on corrosion and microbiology issues.
  • In current role within company (ChampionX) I am providing global technical support for corrosion and microbiology related projects. I am also one of the authors of Advance Microbiology Technical Training e-book prepared for company staff. The reason of involving on microbiology related projects is, to have experience on biocide and corrosion inhibitor creating and formulation in previous research experience. I am also one of the author for creating corrosion inhibitor and SRB suppress biocide.

  • I was based at MAERSK Oil Qatar office in Doha and responsible for Corrosion and Scale inhibitor (Down hole corrosion/scale inhibitor (combined product), wet gas corrosion inhibitor, Top side corrosion Inhibitor and top side scale inhibitor) and demulsifier contract at MAERSK Oil field Al Shaheen in Qatar. In this position I was responsible for Corrosion and Scale inhibitor (Down hole corrosion/scale inhibitor (combined product), wet gas corrosion inhibitor, Top side corrosion Inhibitor and top side scale inhibitor) contract at MAERSK Oil field Al Shaheen in Qatar. I managed the team of two Service Engineers, review repots, monitor chemical performance, review CI residual and SEM results, make conclusions, regularly visit Al Shaheen platforms, optimize chemical dosages, prepare field trial reports, manage logistics for offshore, arrange daily chemical delivery to platforms. I also involved into dehydration chemicals application. I supported MAERSK Oil Production Chemist team for flow assurance issues like subsea pipeline fouling. I regularly get in touch with Technical Team in CECA France to sort out integrity and flow assurance related issues at Al Shaheen field. Daily follow up offshore Production Reports. I hold weekly Production Chemistry meeting for CECA and MAERSK Oil and during meeting we follow up contract projects activities, share raised queries by customer to CECA Technical support team, playing the role of interface. I was regularly visiting Al Shaheen platforms.
  • From June 2017 I was based at NOC (North Oil Company – joint venture Qatar Petroleum and TOTAL) Qatar office and started working with NOC Production Chemistry Team as Maersk Oil lost operating rights in tender for Al Shaheen project.
