As the Head of Transformation and Growth, my role is to bring together my expertise in IT and business processes to drive organizational change and growth while prioritizing technology initiatives that align with company goals and objectives.

Working closely with stakeholders, I develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize business operations, increase efficiency, and drive innovation through the adoption of new technologies and processes. I focus on creating value for all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, shareholders, employees, and society, by improving touchpoints across the organization through digital transformation, business intelligence, and process automation.

In addition, I define technology vision and strategy while leading ongoing improvement initiatives for information technology systems, infrastructure, network efficiency, and software. I make recommendations and present business advantages for technology initiatives and improvements while ensuring technology standards and best practices are met.

I provide technical guidance on high-priority projects and orient the organization to trends in the information technology industry while leading the IT team in identifying, comparing, selecting, and implementing technology solutions to meet current and future needs. I also ensure the implementation of IT best practices, including general systems, controls, and cybersecurity across the organization.

Finally, I maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices while establishing department goals and managing a dynamic team accountable for service delivery to both internal and external customers. Building and maintaining highly effective cross-functional relationships with colleagues ensure effective communication and value-added working relationships.

As the Head of Information Technology in Al Saleh, I brought a wealth of experience and expertise in various areas such as Data Center Operations, Digital Transformation, Business Intelligence, ERP Implementation, Automation, Smart Tech, Custom Software Development, Low Code Platforms, E-Commerce, SEO, Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Web Development, and Business Process Reengineering.

What made me unique in this role was my ability to bridge the gap between IT and business operations. My strong IT knowledge and business understanding enabled me to develop effective IT strategies that aligned with the organization's overall business objectives. This unique perspective allowed me to create a new business model that was replicated in all the group companies within the region and other countries.
In this role, I led and managed a team of developers and system administrators, overseeing all IT operations and ensuring the smooth running of the organization's technology portfolio. I implemented effective strategies for digital transformation and business intelligence, driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.

Furthermore, I oversaw the successful implementation of various IT projects, including ERP implementation, custom software development, and low-code platforms, resulting in significant cost savings and improved business performance. My expertise in E-Commerce, SEO, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Management helped the organization optimize its online presence, driving traffic, leads, and sales.

As the General Manager of the IT Business, I provided turnkey IT solutions to the clients of the company. I directed a team of developers for business application development, including system integration projects, and conducted meetings with clients to understand their requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

In addition, I served TIC clients as a consultant to guide them about information security threats, and ensured business success by devising emerging technology solutions. I led the team of ICT projects to ensure delivery of projects to clients within agreed time, cost, and quality. I also actively engaged the team of developers to develop expertise in Big Data, AI, and ML-related technologies, and implemented effective software to secure the software development environment.

Furthermore, I provided scalable and reliable database design considering analytics and intelligence in mind, and acquired acute knowledge of new technologies to transfer knowledge to internal and external users. Some of the major projects within TIC included turnkey IT solutions, data center setup and networking (including wired, wireless, and fiber), complete IT solutions for Masaken Al Raha Village, IoT and smart home solutions (using Zigbee, Zwave, RFID, and Raspberry PI), and software development (desktop, web, and Android) with barcode, RFID, and other solutions.

In addition to these projects, I also participated in the IPM project in South Africa, where I conducted business process reengineering of IPM. IPM was affiliated with TIC and owned by the same shareholders. During my involvement, I contributed to the integration of people management processes and implemented the latest RPA, AI, and IoT technologies to optimize performance and increase efficiency.
