An EPC Project encompassing two years of storage and processing for Rice, Oil, and Sugar, featuring a Ship Unloading and Conveying System, Utilities, and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinated with O&M manufacturers and suppliers for design development, implementation, and approval from project stakeholders.
• Managed end-to-end procurement process, including material approval, expediting, inspection, FAT testing, and material inventory control.
• Oversaw construction activities, including piping, mechanical, structural, electrical, and control systems.
• Managed contract administration processes, including performance evaluation, payment invoicing, conflict resolution, claims, and variations.

Achievements:

• Successfully obtained design and detailed engineering approvals
• Oversee completion of construction for Rice Plant, Bagging Plant, Silos, and Warehouses
• Led testing and commissioning phase to ensure project readiness for dry-running operations.

Project: Development of ISF Camp at Duhail QR 1.8 billion

A Design and Build project encompassing the development of the ISF Camp at Duhail, including Utilities Networks and pumping stations for Potable and Fire Water systems, an Irrigation system, 49 11KV Substations, 16 KM of External/Internal Boundary wall, 40 Gates and watch Towers, Wind tunnel building, 2 District cooling plants (80,000 TR), and Reticulation Network

Responsibilities:

• Led Procurement and Material Control Department, overseeing all aspects of procurement and material management.
• Developed comprehensive procurement strategic plan, policies, and procedures, including establishment of expediting system and workflow management through closeout.
• Negotiated key packages, drafted contracts, and formalized agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Managed project cash flow for potential vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Conducted budget assessments and implemented cost control measures, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitored inventory and stock values, addressing material inspection and storage issues.

Achievements:

• Successfully completed procurement process for materials valued at over USD 285 million, from RFQ stage to delivery.
• Conducted comprehensive analysis of stock inventory, categorizing surplus materials, spare parts, and scraps.
• Achieved target of project closure by end of 2018, ensuring timely project completion.
• Support for extension of time claim and prolongation costs.

Responsibilities:

• Served as an integral member of the Engineering & Procurement Core Team, contributing expertise to EPC projects across KN's operational areas in Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, and the GCC.
• Conducted negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors, covering technical, commercial, and contractual aspects to secure optimal terms for organization.
• Provided vital tender support for potential projects within KN's operational areas.
• Acted as Vendor Engineering and procurement coordinator, overseeing major equipment procurement, including Gas Turbines, GIS Substations, Transformers, DCS systems, and MEP.
• Reviewed engineering deliverables and optimized them to initiate cost-effective solutions.

• Finalize Electrical workshop drawings design and follow the Consultant's final approval.
• Supervise electrical site activities based on construction process.
• Preparing material submittal based on relative specification.

• Modeling AMR system based on Site Conditions and client Specification.
• Installing and implementing for hardware devices and associated accessories
• Testing and commissioning prior to project handing over.
