Head of Maintenance Strategy & Support – South Directorate

  • Lead a team of 47 Subject Matter Experts across 9 engineering disciplines, supporting five major oil assets (Nimr, Marmul, Amal, Bahja, and Rima). Accountable for strategic maintenance direction, emission reduction, AIPSM maturity, and sustaining world-class production availability.
  • Developed and led the South 2030 Strategy aligning long-term asset care, AIPSM maturity, and cost optimization with PDO business objectives.
  • Achieved zero Tier 1 incidents and only two Tier 2 events since 2022 via a directorate-wide SCE framework.
  • Eliminated red-banded pipeline integrity cases—best status across PDO.
  • Directed OGMP2.0 implementation across assets through LDAR surveying and methane rectification.
  • Led PDO’s Gap-to-Potential Program using Casual learning investigation and Lean tools to cut deferment and enhance uptime.
  • Delivered 95% Omanisation in the award-winning Haimo MPFM contract (Bronze Award) as contract owner.
