Scope of Work:
The project is part of the development of a low-carbon LNG Bunkering Project powered by solar energy for bunkering services at Sohar Port South. The project includes construction of a fully operational LNG Jetty suitable for berthing LNG bunkering vessels and LNG export carriers, reinstatement and upgrade of shore protection systems, and installation of drainage infrastructure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all Health, Safety and Environmental activities for the LNG Jetty, Shore Protection and Drainage System Project at Sohar Port South, Oman.

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the project HSE Management System in compliance with company standards, client requirements, ISO standards and local regulatory requirements.

• Advise project management on HSE matters related to marine operations, jetty construction, lifting activities, temporary works, excavation, work at height and other high-risk construction activities.

• Establish project HSE objectives, KPIs and monitoring systems to improve safety performance and operational efficiency.

• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance.

• Coordinate emergency response planning, crisis management, evacuation procedures and emergency drills for both marine and onshore operations.

• Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, management safety walks and compliance assessments across all project areas and subcontractors.

• Interface with clients, consultants, port authorities and regulatory bodies on all HSE matters and ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.

• Lead and mentor multi-national HSE teams, supervisors and safety officers while promoting a proactive safety culture across the workforce.

• Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, lifting plans and safe systems of work for critical construction and marine activities.

• Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions where required.

• Prepare executive HSE reports, presentations, statistics and performance analysis for senior management and client review meetings.

• Support environmental protection initiatives, waste management controls and sustainability objectives throughout project execution.

• Ensure implementation of permit-to-work systems, emergency preparedness measures and control of high-risk activities in line with international best practices.

Project: DUT Tower Project – Uptown Tower Dubai

Scope of Work:
Construction of the 340-meter super-tall Uptown Tower in Dubai, comprising 81 storeys with mixed-use commercial, hospitality and residential facilities designed to meet high environmental and sustainability standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Managed all Health, Safety and Environmental activities for the construction of the 340-meter super-tall Uptown Tower project in Dubai.

• Led implementation of the project HSE Management System in compliance with company standards, client requirements, UAE regulations and international best practices.
